Veterinarians

Ellie Goan, DVM & Owner
Dr. Goan graduated with her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Western University in 2010 after completing a Bachelors in Animal Science at Clemson University and a Masters in Veterinary Physiology at University of Georgia. Dr. Goan came to the AAVH/WBAC family after graduation in 2010 and became a co-owner in 2015 and sole owner in 2021. She was born in East Tennessee and grew up equally between North and South Carolina. In her spare time she can be found working outside, fishing on her pond, hanging out with her dogs, traveling, or spending time with friends and family. Dr. Goan's favorite aspect of working at AAVH is that we never know what species with what ailments are going to walk in the door.

Alaine Gerughty, DVM
Dr. Alaine Gerughty grew up in Louisville, KY as the youngest of four children. She graduated from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2021 after completing a Bachelors in Animal Science at the University of Kentucky. She enjoys traveling and so far her favorite place has been Australia and she eventually wants to visit Ireland. During her time off she enjoys relaxing with her wild pup Nyla or working on a cross stitch. In the future she hopes to learn physical therapy techniques to help your fury friends even more! She can’t wait to meet you and your pets.

Paul Ulrich, DVM
Dr. Ulrich specializes in small animal, avian, and exotic medicine and surgery. Dr. Ulrich earned his Bachelors in Biology in 1976, his Masters in Zoology in 1978 and his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1982 all from University of California at Davis. He worked at Bakersfield Veterinary Hospital in California from 1982 - 2017 and was a partner from 1990-2017. After retiring from Bakersfield Veterinary Hospital he helped their local shelter from 2018-2019. In 2019 Dr. Ulrich and his wife moved to Dickson. In 2020 Dr. Ulrich began helping out the Humane Society of Dickson County, which he still does today. He became a member of the AAVH/WBAC family in February 2022. Dr. Ulrich enjoys spending his spare time with his wife and their 4 grown kids. He also enjoys golfing and horticulture. He is a foodie as well as a novice guitar player.

Practice Managers
Nicki Perry
Nicki joined the practices in May 2020 and dove straight into the deep end! Nicki works hard to to maintain and improve many aspects of our practices. She was born and raised in Dickson County. While we don't give Nicki a ton of free time she spends every second she can with her longtime boyfriend and her incredibly smart and adorable daughter.

Sherie Reynolds
Sherie's career as a veterinary assistant began in 1992. Originally from North Carolina, she has lived in TN since 2006 with her husband and 2 children. Sherie joined the AAVH/WBAC family in 2010 as a veterinary assistant. In 2022 Sherie made the transition to Practice Manager and we have kept her very busy! Aside from her actual children she also has a silly Lab named Maggie and a very loving special needs senior cat, Sammy. In the very little time she does have, Sherie loves to make amazing baskets, read, and is a huge follower of Christ. Sherie is wonderful with animals and people alike. She has a soft voice, very kind heart, and a gentle touch.

Taylor Raines
Taylor joined the AAVH family in May 2019. She has her Pharmacy Technician license, but loves animals and client interaction so decided to come here. Taylor has a daughter that also shares an early love of medicine with Mom. In her non-existent spare time Taylor loves reading and spending time with her cat, Cat girl.

Amy Anderson
Amy lives in Dickson with her husband and 3 kids ranging from 8-16. Her kids are into sports so Amy spends her free time driving and at sporting events. Amy is very tender hearted and would take home every animal in need of a home if she wasn't worried her husband would divorce her. She currently has several dogs and cats (she's unsure of the exact number).

Technicians and Assistants
​
Amy Myatt, LVMT
Amy has been with AAVH since 2012 after graduating from Columbia State Veterinary Technician Program and receiving her Associates Degree in Applied Animal Science. In addition to being a full-time licensed veterinary medical technician, she is also a full-time Mom to an energetic beautiful daughter named Katlyn, 2 very lovable dogs, Honey and Sarge, and 2 cats, Orange Kitty and Momma Cat. While Amy's spare time is extremely limited she does make time to go hunting, to read books, and to spend time with her family and friends.

Jodie Spencer, LVMT
Jodie is a licensed veterinary medical technician that joined the AAVH family in 2014. She worked at the Dickson County Humane Society for over 7 years before starting at AAVH. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, horseback riding, riding four-wheelers, and hunting. Jodie enjoys working her dogs while coon hunting. Jodie also enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, but especially cattle work and new pet exams so she gets our newest patients off on the right start. We are very excited to have Jodie on the team!

Lauren McVoy, LVMT
Lauren grew up in Dickson. She started working with us at our White Bluff location through a work based learning program in high school. Now, Lauren is a License Veterinary Medical Technician. We are so glad to continue to be a part of her awesome journey!

Megan Estes, LVMT
Megan started working at All Animals when she was at Dickson County High School through the occupation externship program. She is now a Licensed Veterinary Technician. We are all looking forward to seeing Megan with us full time for a long time to come.

Katy Cantrell, CVA
Katy is a Certified Veterinary Assistant that joined AAVH/WBAC in 2022. Katy was born and raised in Ohio. In 2021 her and her husband and children decided to put roots down in Tennessee. She has worked at animal shelters as well as veterinary hospitals for years. However, Katy is excited about the large animal and exotic medicine she will be exposed to at AAVH. She has 2 cats Sully and Tubby. Katy's free time is spent with her husband and kids. Katy has a sense of humor that makes it feel like she's been with us forever. We are very happy Katy is here!

Haley Capps
Haley joined the AAVH/WBAC team and hit the ground running. Haley is currently a veterinary assistant at our White Bluff Animal Clinic location. She is equally awesome with the pets as well as clients. Haley has a dog and 2 cats. Haley's favorite part of her job is working with the exotic animals we see.
Michelle Correll
Michelle worked with us from 2008-2013 then came back because she missed us so much in 2020. Michelle enjoys spending her free time with her husband, her cats, and her adorable Pitbull, Layla. In her spare time Michelle enjoys horseback riding, traveling and going to concerts.

Whitanie Kilian
Whitanie grew up in Dickson county on her family's farm. On the farm, she helped raise cattle and tobacco. Living on the farm is were she found her love for animals. Whitanie's love for animals is what lead her to joining the AAVH family in April of 2018 as a full time kennel assistant.

Satori Collier
Tori is a Dickson County native. She is raising 3 adorable boys that keep her on her toes. In Tori's free time she loves to knit and read. Tori's favorite animal is an Okapi.

​Angelina Bradford
Angelina is a senior at Dickson County High School. Her love of animals brought her to All Animals in November of 2022. We are hoping Angelina will stick around AAVH long after highschool. She has a real passion for caring for animals!

Annalisse Newsome
We are so excited to have Annalisse join the AAVH/WBAC family. She is the granddaughter of our beloved founder Dr. Thomas! Annalisse has a love of all animals, but is most excited to work with Sugar Gliders.
